When can I buy coverage outside the health insurance Marketplace?

If you want coverage that meets minimum ACA standards, you have to sign up during open enrollment unless you qualify for a special enrollment period. If you live in a state using HealthCare.gov, open enrollment for 2024 coverage runs from November 1, 2023 to January 16, 2024.
