If the Marketplace hasn’t received the requested information within 90 days and you didn’t already ask for an extension, the Marketplace will make a determination based on the information it has. You may be able to get an extension of the 90-day deadline if you file an appeal. When you file your appeal, include information about why you missed the deadline. Also, if you were asked to submit documentation to verify your income, you will receive an automatic 60-day extension. (45 C.F.R. §§ 155.315, 155.355, 155.505.)
