You may be eligible for a special enrollment period based on “exceptional circumstances” since a natural disaster kept you from enrolling during open enrollment. You should contact the Marketplace Call Center (HealthCare.gov) at 1-800-318-2596 (TTY: 1-855-889-4325) when you are ready to enroll into coverage. If you are denied a special enrollment period, you can appeal the decision. (45 C.F.R. § 155.420).
