No, it does not in the federally facilitated marketplace, but New York’s state-based marketplace allows a special enrollment for pregnancy, and Connecticut’s state-based marketplace will do the same beginning in 2019. When the baby is born, however, you will be eligible for a special enrollment opportunity. You can enroll your baby in coverage at that point. (45 C.F.R. § 155.420).
