I was auto-enrolled into a marketplace plan but I am no longer receiving premium tax credits. What should I do?

ANSWER

To determine if you are still eligible for premium tax credits, you should return to the marketplace and provide updated information to renew your eligibility for 2018. When some individuals are auto-enrolled, their premium tax credits are not automatically restarted. For instance, your tax credits might not have been renewed if you failed to file your tax returns or did not reconcile the tax credits you received using Form 8962. Please return to the marketplace to determine what documents are needed to receive the tax credits. (IRS, Questions and Answers on the Premium Tax Credit).
